Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Vistenne ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address, name, and profile details when you create an account.
  • Style preferences: fashion preferences, color palettes, body measurements, and style feedback you provide to personalize your experience.
  • Wardrobe data: photos and descriptions of clothing items you upload.
  • Moodboards: images, notes, and curated content you save.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.
  • Usage data: features used, interactions, and general app usage patterns.
  • Location data: approximate location for weather-based outfit suggestions (only when you grant permission).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide personalized AI-powered fashion recommendations.
  • Generate outfit suggestions based on your wardrobe and preferences.
  • Improve our AI models and recommendation algorithms.
  • Send you relevant notifications (with your consent).
  • Maintain and improve app performance and security.

4. AI and Data Processing

Our app uses artificial intelligence to analyze your style preferences and generate recommendations. Your wardrobe photos and style data are processed to:

  • Identify clothing items, colors, and styles.
  • Generate personalized outfit combinations.
  • Provide color harmony analysis and seasonal recommendations.

We do not sell your photos or personal style data to third parties. AI processing is performed to deliver our core service to you.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and hosted on trusted cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for:

  • Authentication and data storage: to securely manage your account and content.
  • Analytics: to understand app usage patterns (anonymized data only).
  • Cloud infrastructure: for secure image and data storage.

Each third-party provider has their own privacy policy governing the use of your information.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR (and equivalent rights under CCPA, LGPD, and other applicable laws) you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15).
  • Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16).
  • Erase your data — the right to be forgotten (Art. 17).
  • Port your data in a portable format (Art. 20).
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.

Self-service in the app

Two of these rights are available with one tap inside Vistenne. Open the app and go to Profile → Privacy & Data:

  • Download my data — produces a JSON file containing every record we hold about you (wardrobe items, outfits, photos, preferences, account metadata).
  • Delete my account — permanently removes your account, every photo and outfit you created, and all associated metadata.

For the remaining rights (correction, withdrawal of consent, marketing opt-out, or any other request) contact us at contact@vistenne.com.

Note about subscriptions: if you have an active App Store or Google Play subscription, deleting your Vistenne account does not cancel billing. You must cancel the subscription separately through your store account.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

When you delete your account through Profile → Privacy & Data, the deletion is processed immediately: your account, every photo and outfit you uploaded, your preferences, your usage logs, and all associated assets across our storage are permanently and irreversibly removed.

For audit and regulatory compliance we keep a minimal anonymized record (a SHA-256 hash of your former user ID, the deletion timestamp, and the reason for deletion) for up to three years. This record contains no personal data and cannot be used to re-identify you.

Account deletion does not cancel App Store or Google Play subscription billing — cancel those separately via your store account before deleting the account.

9. International Data Transfers

Vistenne is operated from Brazil and our service providers process data in the United States. If you access the service from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws different from your country, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries that may not offer the same level of protection.

  • EU-US Data Privacy Framework certifications, where the sub-processor is self-certified (Google, Apple, RevenueCat).
  • Your explicit consent when no other safeguard applies.

You can request a copy of the SCCs in place with any specific sub-processor by writing to contact@vistenne.com.
